TEHRAN – Israel bombed the main building of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) killing one journalist.

Masoumeh Azimi, an employee of the IRIB, did not survive her severe injuries after the airstrike that targeted Iran’s state television building.

Another IRIB News anchor was on live to-air delivering news when the airstrike occured. Despite the attack, IRIB resumed broadcasting, with the host boldly asking Israel to “target us again.”

The anchor continued her live reporting at a different location “If die, others will take my place and reveal your crimes to the world.” she said.

The IRIB owns the biggest news outlet in Iran.it has been actively covering lsrael-Hamas war, and now the Iran-Israel war.

On the scene, one journalist standing, outside an IRIB building engulfed in flames with smoke blowing above stated he did not know how many colleagues had been killed.
